And don't act like a stereotype spy/mafioso - because if you do, and you say things like 'This conversation never happened' you are setting yourself up for disaster. Sorry lady, but when you vote for expanded wiretapping with less oversight don't be so surprised that you just happen to be wiretapped. Looks like you lost that roll of the dice. I wonder how many actually innocent Americans did too. But hey, at least we're safer from external threats, we'll deal with the internal ones after a few more Congresspeople get bugged.

No matter the administration, it doesn't take long to start racking up notches on the headboard of stupidity. This one was pretty big, especially when you hear the real time reactions from scared New Yorkers. Note to the President's men: Try to map out some of the most idiotic things you could do to embarrass your boss. I bet this ranks pretty high.

About 1:40 in O'Reilly says: I don't like the line in the speech about 'we don't have to comprimise our values to protect ourselves' um I think sometimes we do.
That's right values are only valuable when they meet you immediate needs. I've known this, most teenagers know this, and I'm sure more than a few crackheads agree too.

#3 Ignorance Is Bliss

In her disappointed response to the Obama administration's release of CIA torture memos, pundit Peggy Noonan lameted:
"Sometimes in life you want to just keep walking," Noonan said, adding, "Sometimes, I think, just keep walking.... Some of life just has to be mysterious."
Well life is most mysterious with a black sack over your head.
"Is that one gallon of water or two?"
"Will I be on the top or bottom of this naked prisoner pyramid?"
"I wonder if they are using AC or DC to electrocute my nipples."
You know, Noonan is right, life is better with a bit of mystery.

#2 Don't Be A Hypocrite

Sounds simple enough, but like most positive traits it may be tough to walk the talk. Take Fox's Bill O'Reilly and his stance against the paparazzi. O'Reilly is right that celebrities, hounded relentlessly by the media, deserve some semblance of privacy! He often calls on the media to behave responsibly in their treatment of celebrities.
But wouldn't you know it, that only counts for OTHER media outlets, not O'Reilly himself. O'Reilly routinely sends his attack dog producer out to harass private citizens that "refuse" to appear on his show.
Take a look:

#1 Glass Houses Are Dangerous

People who live in glass houses should not throw stones.

A good piece of advice, both literally and figuratively.
Yet Fox made news of Vice President Biden's "latest gaffe" when he asked for a website's "number" in a hurried moment, when he really meant to say url.
It seems people who can't spell like living in glass houses.

In their own rush to inform the public of Joe's transgression they forgot how to spell. Ouch.
You're right Fox, that is embarrassing!
